We visited zikos grill as part of a tour group. it has a fun and lively atmosphere. a gentleman who plays the organ was the live music. he liked to receive our... read more We visited zikos grill as part of a tour group. it has a fun and lively atmosphere. a gentleman who plays the organ was the live music. he liked to receive our requests for polka and frank sinatra! in the frame of a tour we were offered. a smaller menu, but the choices were all nice. my man and I were excited to see a black ankle as one of the choices. we had to try on our list of German dishes for our trip. the ankle had a slightly smoked taste and was slowly roasted until it was tender and tasteful. the sourd was well cooked and slightly sweet. I have replaced mixed vegetables for the kartoffels. it was a delicious meal. the liter cups of the beer were a perfect companion to the wonderful meal. together with the music made it a night of thought in berlin!

Pork knuckle was well grilled and bones can be easily removed. we had ice-cream for dessert. Beer was cold but on the lighter side. as a whole, a reasonable german meal for tourist.

The staff was always friendly and accommodating. They even accommodated our requests—for example, adjusting the meal times.
