We visited zikos grill as part of a tour group. it has a fun and lively atmosphere. a gentleman who plays the organ was the live music. he liked to receive our... read more We visited zikos grill as part of a tour group. it has a fun and lively atmosphere. a gentleman who plays the organ was the live music. he liked to receive our requests for polka and frank sinatra! in the frame of a tour we were offered. a smaller menu, but the choices were all nice. my man and I were excited to see a black ankle as one of the choices. we had to try on our list of German dishes for our trip. the ankle had a slightly smoked taste and was slowly roasted until it was tender and tasteful. the sourd was well cooked and slightly sweet. I have replaced mixed vegetables for the kartoffels. it was a delicious meal. the liter cups of the beer were a perfect companion to the wonderful meal. together with the music made it a night of thought in berlin!

The steak for €26.50 w... read more The interior design is uninspired. Some of the chairs are broken. The place has a distinctly morbid 80s feel. The food was disappointing. The steak for €26.50 wasn't worth the money; it was completely overcooked. We weren't asked how we wanted it cooked beforehand. The salad with feta cheese for €7.50 – completely overpriced – consisted of bits of bell pepper with a mountain of feta cheese strips hanging over the edge of the plate. Not exactly appetizing. The meat in the mixed grill, especially the ćevapčići, was also undercooked and still raw in places. The salad garnish on the plate was okay, though. The price of the mixed grill was very reasonable compared to the aforementioned filet steak. The air was thick with the smell of grease and cooking fumes. All my clothes still smelled of it that evening. The service, however, was friendly and customer-oriented. In my opinion, this restaurant is better suited for large tour groups, especially bus tours. Not really suitable for a romantic dinner for two.
