We made the booking via OpenTable a few days in advance with immediate confirmation and then received email reminder one day prior to our booking date. When we arrived, the manager said they didn't have our booking and they provided private event only. He recommended us to their self serviced fast food corner. You can imagine how bad the feeling was when you were expecting fine lunch from a Michelin guide but being offered to a self serviced salad corner! We just stayed in Berlin for 3 days and this definitely had ruined our impression of Berlin, despite of the nice attitude of the manager. We were not familiar with the city and unable to find similar food nearby and ended up in a simple lunch in an arrogant cafe. This also discounts the reliability of OpenTable.
