The tasting menu was crea... read more Yafa is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. From the first cocktail to the final dessert, every detail was executed flawlessly. The tasting menu was creative, refined and full of surprises. Warm service, incredible atmosphere and truly memorable flavors. Berlin has many trendy places, but very few leave a real impression — Yafa definitely did.

The hummus was basically tahini with a little hummus, i... read more It's a really funny place. They seem to have no idea how Middle Eastern food is supposed to be prepared. The hummus was basically tahini with a little hummus, instead of hummus with tahini. The cauliflower and eggplant were extremely oily and lacked any real flavor. The eggs they served were cold, as if they had just come out of the fridge. At one point, I overheard a member of the team giving instructions to the kitchen staff on how to prepare the food. That was actually the funniest part, because most of the instructions were completely wrong. I'm from the Middle East, so I know exactly how these dishes are supposed to taste, and unfortunately this was far from authentic.
