Auch auf Sonderwünsche wird freundlichst und flexibel reagiert.Allerdings nicht immer offen, sondern Mo. und Die. geschlossen und Mi. und Do. nur abends.

Das Essen war wirklich gut, wenn auch sehr teuer, wie schon öfters erwähnt. Da gibt es in Berlin mindestens genau so gute Österreicher mit moderateren Preisen.... read more Das Essen war wirklich gut, wenn auch sehr teuer, wie schon öfters erwähnt. Da gibt es in Berlin mindestens genau so gute Österreicher mit moderateren Preisen. Das ist aber nicht der Grund warum wir dies Gasthaus nicht empfehlen können. Wir sind selber Österreicher (wohnen in Berlin) und haben uns über den Umgang mit den Gästen gewundert. Wir wurden von einer "mundfaulen" Dame bedient. Kein: guten Abend - Kein: guten Appetit (beim servieren der Speisen) Kein: wie hat es Ihnen geschmeckt (beim abräumen). Leider nur ein muffiges Gesicht. Dies war nicht nur bei uns sondern auch bei den anderen Gästen der Fall. Sehr schade, denn dies hat uns den kompletten Abend vermiest und hält uns von einem weiteren Besuch ab !!

A cozy atmosphere and the best Austrian cuisine we've ever had – and we travel to Austria quite often. The Kaiserschmarrn is an absolute must-try; it's simply the best!

The chef, the cuisine, the service, and the ambiance all deserve five stars. It's so cozy and makes the stress of the big city simply melt away. Every dish is highly recommended: the goulash is incredibly tender, the schnitzel outstanding, the fish translucent and succulent, perfectly seasoned and cooked. At this time of year, I'd say they serve the best goose in Berlin—not dry at all, with crispy, thin skin; the kale is simply divine, the red cabbage is amazing, and the dumplings are divine. The decor is charming, and the creaking floorboards hint at the eager footsteps of the approaching meal. Everything is just perfect.
