It's a relatively reasonably p... read more I had lunch here while in Berlin. If you're Japanese, you'd probably imagine it as a university cafeteria or a company cafeteria. It's a relatively reasonably priced lunch spot where you can enjoy typical German food. It's nothing particularly special, but I recommend it if you want to avoid restaurants that are overly touristy. I've summarized the restaurant's instructions and system below, so I hope it's helpful. You can pick up trays, plates, cutlery, and paper towels at the back of the restaurant, then help yourself to salads (calculated by weight , snacks, drinks, desserts, etc. There's a hot meal counter at the very back, where you choose 3-4 options and then line up. The sign is in German, so I couldn't read it, but I'm sure the staff will be able to explain. When I went, the menu consisted of a stew or soup (probably vegan? , chicken and tomato stew with rice, and tomato and tuna pasta. Once you've picked your desired dishes, pay at the register and sit down to eat. After your meal, you place your tray on the conveyor belt that runs from the side just before the salad corner, clean up, and leave the restaurant.
