Was Eugene P at Walhalla a mag?
Friendly English speaking staff, fast service, decent food and regular prices ~10 euro for a second course, ~4 euro for a beer). Open till late night, smoking room inside. Check out the old photos there apparently the place is very old and there was always some sort of a bar there. View all feedback.
What Agustin Lindgren dislikes about Walhalla:
I've been there with my bf, the location is pretty and looking like a typical german pub. The shop assistants are friendly and kind. The beers are very good, same about the cider. The food was not bad but nothing of that special, the meat...was just okay. Recommend if you want eat fast and frind in a warm place! View all feedback.
Recommended by friends from Hannover as a meeting point on a Saturday aftenoon/evening for drinks and food, as we had eaten just before travelling to Walhalla we had a beer and watched the football while we waited for our friends to arrive, it is a...busy place with what looks to be mostly locals using it but we were made to be felt welcome as we relaxed. once our friends arrived drinks were ordered along with food for them, it is a german menu with pizza and pasta served, between them they ordered pizza, schnitzel and schwabentopf, the meals looked great and what we tasted from their plates lived up to expectation. As we were on a very short visit we were unable to return to sample properly for ourselves but we have our plans made for another visit. Prices are attractive and portions filling, overall a nice place worth travelling to.
It was ordinary but very tasty food for an unbeatable price! Very friendly waitress as well plus they have an english menu. Would recommend for sure!
Having seen this reviewed on TA, we decided to try Walhalla For a late lunch. We arrived at about 2.30 after a delightful walk along the river through a suburban neighbourhood, where we also stumbled upon a piece of the Berlin Wall And an accompanying...statue which was very moving. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful afternoon weather and to people watch. We decided on a couple of beers because “ hey, we’re in Germany“. We ordered the Cordon Bleu with a pepper sauce €16.20) and a weiner schnitzel €14.90). Both dishes were accompanied by a generous serving of chips and a tasty side salad. We also received a complimentary basket of bread. What can I say but YUM. Our host was a pleasant fellow who smiled at my feeble attempts at German and corrected my pronunciation. I would highly recommend Walhalla.
A rustic restaurant with a beer hall feel. A compact affair for a large group. Good beer, good food, good service. Excellent.
A rustic pub with Swabian specialties! Nice and affordable!
