Friendly service and great authentic French cuisine. the small restaurant belongs to a French-American couple. the French lady takes care of eating while the Am... read more Friendly service and great authentic French cuisine. the small restaurant belongs to a French-American couple. the French lady takes care of eating while the American pendant takes care of the customers. oysters are really perfect for about 3€ a piece, the crab but not really enthusiastic. we also tried the cod, was soft and a joy. I like their summer menu much better than their winter menu.

My friend and I have tried to find a great French restaurant in berlin, and we have finally found volk. it is a small place with a chef from paris. it is also b... read more My friend and I have tried to find a great French restaurant in berlin, and we have finally found volk. it is a small place with a chef from paris. it is also berlin's first oyster bar. they had 6 different types of oysters to choose. we tried 2 of each and they were all fresh and tasty. my friend had the duck confit I've never tried, and now I'll eat it here often. the waiter was friendly and let us try several different weeps that is quite funny. it was full so I recommend a reservation. we come back often!
