The food is not bad but a little pretentious. It is a place designed for tourists. Lots of signifiers of luxury, but it is overdone. The taglietella with black truffles was cooked in their ubiquitous cheese wheel along with cream, rum, and what tasted suspiciously like sugar. The result was an overly rich sweet concoction in which the expensive black truffle could no longer be tasted. Would have made a better desert. The waiters were grumpy but as a kind of Italian performance. They upsell too, very annoying. Although I live nearby I will not go back.

This was a great surprise when we wondered in at 8 on a Friday night and they were able to get us in, even though we didn't have a reservation and they were booked. The food was excellent and the service was equally good. The pics posted here by another user are of them preparing a special (not on the menu) pasta appetizer in a cheese wheel: we saw them make it for the table next to us and asked for it. I'm glad we did because it was really unbelievable. Highly recommend this place.

A must try is their Pasta made in a Parmesan Round topped with fresh shaved truffle. MUST book always full and hard to get into
