The server was very attentive, pleasant and spoke English. The menu is vast so if you have little ones, or picky eaters you should be able to find something they will eat. They also have a play area for the kids. We are from Colorado and so we know our Mexican food. We didn't expect food like home and if you are expecting authentic Mexican food, this might not be the place. My husbands burrito was close but my son and I ordered fajitas. He steak and I chicken. Both had tender meat but was drowning in a tomatoe based sauce that had a hint of Indian spices but the texture of spaghetti sauce. It was edible but not what you would expect for fajitas. They a had a decent amber beer and mixed drinks. Don't expect to pay with a credit card, only cash. We would possibly go back but order Indian or the ribs. It looked like an "all you can eat rib" night when we went and there was a decent crowd for it. We noticed many Indian patrons and guessed perhaps the Indian food would be good as you could smell the curry.

Am Eingang wurden wir vom sehr freundlichen Personal begrüßt, welches uns einen gemütlichen Tisch im oberen Bereich des Lokals anbot. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist gigantisch, was mir erfahrungsgemäß jedoch etwas missfällt. Ich entschied mich für einen Burrito de Pollo, meine Begleitung für das Kängerusteak mit Pilzen in Rahmsoße und Kroketten. Zusammen teilten wir uns einen Fingerfood-Teller als Vorspeise. Hier wurden Minischnitzel, Nuggets und Mozzarella-Sticks mit Sauerrahm und etwas Salat gereicht. Die Gänge wurden bereits nach kurzer Zeit serviert und waren nett angerichtet.Leider lies die Qualität der Speisen etwas zu wünschen übrig. Vor allem die Vorspeisen kamen allesamt aus der Fritteuse und hatten geschmacklich nichts zu bieten. Das Steak meiner Begleitung war sehr gut, leider wurden jedoch die falschen Beilagen serviert (Pommes und gebratene Champignons). Der Burrito war sehr fad und etwas trocken. Es fehlte jegliche Raffinesse im Umgang mit Gewürzen und Aromen. Alles in Allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Ambiente ist gemütlich, die Wartezeiten kurz und das Essen im Bezug auf den Preis in Ordnung. Wer aber auf der Suche nach einem Geschmackserlebnis ist, kommt hier nicht auf seine Kosten.

The veracruz gastronomy gmbh operates 2 restaurants with identical names in the southeastern berliner district köpenick: one in the districtsheirsch garden of t... read more The veracruz gastronomy gmbh operates 2 restaurants with identical names in the southeastern berliner district köpenick: one in the districtsheirsch garden of the furstenwalder damm and one in the district friedrichshagen. the frittrichshagener „Veracruz“ is the older one of the two restaurants and is located in the good-bourgeois old house with the well-preserved facade on the corner “Am Goldmannpark” wooden street, just a few minutes walk from the S-Bahn station friedrichshagen. is even more dense the holding point of the BVG trams 60 and 61. the car drivers have a little heavier because of the tight parking situation. Moreover, they should not forget the parking space on the wooden road because of the short parking spaces. the restaurant has a large dining room. Moreover, in the warm season they find some tables on the way to the house, but I feel so little pleasant due to the high traffic loads due to road traffic and pedestrian traffic. the device is modern. the deko I personally find a little secret: on walls, ceilings and the bursting pictures that are somehow mexican-aztekisch-maya. also several artificial palms that they did not want to miss. they seem to be part of the standard equipment of the two “veracruz”, they are also found in the brain garden. still it's pretty cozy. the menu: it is lavish and full with the tex Mexican and South American cuisine in a cheap to medium price segment. many dishes are for good under 15 €uro. from Monday to Friday is a lunch card in the offer: several daily changing dishes for less than 10 €uro. the service: although the restaurant was very well visited and the only service had to do well, there was no great waiting times and woman always remained friendly, attentive and fast. eating: I decided to roast with brokkoli, rice, curry sauce and some salat for 7,60 €uro from the lunch card and a maidwhite beer (0.5 l) for 2,90 €uro. the food was freshly prepared, as recommended by the sounds from the neighboring kitchen. the waiting time still moves in the normal range. the portion was sufficiently large and actually well tasted. However, the brokkoli was apparently a TK product and accordingly did not blow me away from the chair. with the bill there was another look after the choice to the house. Conclusion: despite some criticism points – a good and recommended restaurant. happy again.
