Feedback
Just perfect. Great chai and banana bread. The owner and guy who normally is behind the counter are responsive and helpful.
The banana bread was of high quality, the cappuccino was small and of average quality. I was at the café on Sunday morning (around 9:30–10:00). Apart from us and one other person who was reading a book, the café was empty and all the tables were free. After about 25 minutes, we took out our laptops, and without any patience, someone approached us and, in a direct and imperative tone, told us that laptops are not allowed on weekends adressing a note on the window. Apart from the unreasonableness of such a rule when the café is empty, the tone of communication was inappropriate—especially considering that we had walked 35 minutes to reach the café and had to leave after less than an hour. As general feedback: you could set your rules in a way that makes sense and does not cause such an inconvinience—for example, only during busy hours or after a certain length of stay. Otherwise, one should not decide how people spend their time in a café, whether they are looking at the walls or at their laptop screens, as long as it does not harm anyone. One should also consider that the communication mode in a café should be different from that of a library or the Bundestag.
