Was Anonym at The Tree a mag?
Went there for lunch and was definitely worth going there. Food was absolutely delicious and nutritious. Only downside for lunch was 25 minutes waiting time for the starter to arrive. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about The Tree:
View all feedback.
I had eaten minced pork with wheat noodles. Price-quality ratio: 5/5 Good portion for the price you pay and super filling. Taste wise it is good and well-suited for those who don’t handle spice too well. Those who are a bit more adventurous on their spice journey should probably go elsewhere. Service: Good service even though it was quite busy in the restaurant. All in all, it is really worth the price and not too expensive.
Super tasty. We liked all our dishes. Maybe not authentic to what you find in a Chengdu noodle shop, but still very good and is its own unique thing. Waitress working was very attentive and quick. Prices are reasonable. Place is tiny and fills up so just be aware.
The best noodles I ever ate in my life. Loved the casual atmosphere and dinner came quite fast. Excellent pricing as well, a must visit
Very tasty, special noodles. Very friendly, attentive service. Everything is just right here. Exceptionally good.
Sometimes it's the little surprises in life that warm the heart. This restaurant transported me straight back to my Berlin neighborhood—not just because of the fantastic Szechuan noodles, but because the chef I admired so much back at the Kong restaurant in Friedrichshain (sadly closed) works here. He actually recognized us—and even better: He remembered my habit of finishing the chili beef with a hint of peanut sauce. He served it to me exactly the same way. The result? Pure umami magic and a plate full of memories. For starters, we had the crisp, fresh cucumber salad with a dressing made from sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, chili, and Szechuan peppercorns. A perfect starter that always leaves you wanting more. This restaurant isn't just about the food, it's also about the feeling. If you're looking for exceptional Szechuan cuisine, you'll find not only taste but also a large portion of soul.
