We came across The Pit by chance when searching for somewhere for dinner after a conference on a Sunday evening. It seems to be pretty new (especially since there's no other reviews or photos on Trip Advisor yet) but I would bet it will be very highly rated here before too long!I ordered the brisket sandwich (a "sandwich" here is effectively a brioche burger bun) and it was right up there with any brisket I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, slightly charred on the outside but on the rare side in the centre. Covered in a delicious bbq sauce, with great coleslaw too. The sides were excellent (I recommend the beans which are spicier than most). The hangover burger also looked great.The staff were very helpful, friendly, and spoke excellent English. My only regret is that I had to leave Berlin before I had a chance to come back and sample more of the menu. If you're in the area and have a craving for good meat then don't miss this place!
