Just when I thought Berlin fast food couldn 't get any better than döner kebob we stumbled upon this lesser known Turkish delight. Tantuni is 100% spiced veal with tomato, onions, parsley and mint(! in a long narrow wrap. It 's served with hot peppers and lemon. I don 't know how common the dish is in Germany, but after several years visiting Berlin this is the first time I 've seen it. It 's not as much food as a yufka döner, so get two of the €3 wraps for a decent meal. When we got up to order our second, we exclaimed how good it was and the fellow behind the counter nodded knowingly like he hears those words a hundred times a day. The restaurant is clean and friendly with good tables inside and out. They also offer a Turkish pizza and other dishes. For dessert, we enjoyed a pistachio topped Sütlaç (Turkish rice pudding with almonds. It 's conveniently located at the U-Bhf. Boddinstr. exit so I 'm sure it 's a popular stop, but we were one of only 2-3 parties at 7pm.

The tantuni is authentic and delicious, you serve yourself cay/Turkish tea at the back, they also have fresh buttermilk. Clean restaurant and facilities, will definitely go back!

I had the... read more Sooo, finally I have managed to check this place out. Took me a while, even though it 's only 2 blocks from me, and I must say the food is delicious. I had the türkisch pizza and it 's so good especially with the fresh parsley. Walking around you would never suspect such good food when you look in from the outside, but from the inside I must say that the place is clean and the owners very nice. I will come back to try some of their other dishes.
