Unfortunately, I was l... read more Having lived in Spain for a number of years, I was keen to try Tafelgold in trendy Prenzlauer Berg to revive my memories of Spanish food. Unfortunately, I was left with a disappointing experience, and a much lighter wallet. The main quibble I would have is with the prices, with most dishes and drinks being double what I would consider them worth. The food is absolutely nothing special, and in fact some dishes were poor (the papas and the chorizo). The wine was very good (but for €6.50 a glass I would hope so!).I won't be returning. If you want Spanish food in Prenzlauer Berg, you can walk another 5 minutes to Helmholtz Platz and visit Tres, which I found to be a much more authentic Spanish tapas experience.
