Beautifully kind family and delicious chicken doner

Unfriendly older guy behind the counter

I just ate a doner kebab there with extra meat and no vegetables. Unfortunately, the employee initially put vegetables in, but when I said I ordered it without, he took them out again, tearing the bread in the process. There was no sauce and only a tiny bit of salad. : It's a real shame, it used to be really good! I'm happy to pay €15 for a good doner kebab, but it should at least be properly layered.

I come here occasionally; I remember the place from before, when it was on Kantstraße. Back then, I worked at McDonald's around the corner and often got my chicken and vegetable kebab there. I like to think it tasted even better back then. I got a dürüm for 9 euros. I didn't find the amount of meat, etc., to be too little; in fact, it was just right. The taste was okay, but not particularly outstanding.

I visited Superhahn and can confirm: they don 't just sell doner kebabs here, they 've mastered them. The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled evenly. You can tell that the rotisserie isn 't just a casual operation, but part of a professional, long-term project. The bread? Sturdy, fresh, slightly crispy – the architectural foundation of a good doner. Even with the last bite, it was still reliably doing its job. German TÜV would be proud. The sauces were well-balanced. The garlic sauce, in particular, had character without immediately signaling, Please don 't talk to anyone today. Pleasantly aromatic, yet socially acceptable – a difficult balancing act that Superhahn manages remarkably well. The vegetables were fresh, crisp, and so vibrant that I briefly wondered if they were auditioning for an advertising campaign. Crisp cucumber, fresh lettuce, and a tomato that actually tasted like a tomato. Conclusion: Superhahn delivers a döner kebab that 's expertly prepared, neat, and with a touch of humor. No unnecessary frills – just honest quality that I can wholeheartedly recommend. Would I go again? Absolutely. And probably with that I know what to expect grin that only good döner shops can give you.
