Our visit was an absolute catastrophe... the saddest thing was that we had a table for a little and intimate 85. far missed ... when I arrived (as a host I want... read more Our visit was an absolute catastrophe... the saddest thing was that we had a table for a little and intimate 85. far missed ... when I arrived (as a host I wanted to make sure everything was in order), no one noticed me, so I had to go to the kitchen to report my annoyance. at this time no one seemed to know from the reservation until finally someone found a note on a sheet paper. I was shown our table, nothing special, and that was it. there were no orders received, no drinks offered, nothing. I had to excite the attention of a rather undynamic waitress who then served me. when the party arrived, the same story ... very slow service. cakes were of average quality, as well as coffee and tee. when it was time for dinner, the menu was offered to us and there was among other things the speciality of the house - icy bone. it was lukewarm, probably microwaveable, absolutely tasteless with even more dry sour wort. others had the liver – dry and tough – and something unidentifiable. in between, no one made the effort to clean up the table or to offer new drinks ... in the opposite part, the table filled more and more with used dishes (we had to remove it at some point)!. when it was time for the dessert, the restaurant actually wanted to close... reluctantly we got something, but the original waitress was now gone and the chef also served, so the new waitress dessert and proudly declared that she "made herself" and so it tasted... all in all a terrible experience, and no one should be fooled by the beautiful location. never again!

Very nice location, seats available along the canal which allows good views for boats going passed and the sun... read more We visited here twice while on holiday in Berlin. Very nice location, seats available along the canal which allows good views for boats going passed and the sunset if you visit at dinner time. We both tried the mixed grill and it was honestly amazing,...could not recommend it more. Please see attached photos. Service was great as well, everyone friendly and helpful
