We had taken in quite a few othe... read more We found this place by searching Google Maps for all restaurants near where we stayed, at Sarotti Hofe, just around the corner. We had taken in quite a few other places along the main avenue, and when my partner saw this was Croatian, we decided...to try it. What a surprise!! this was the most elegant place we ate in Berlin, and while not cheap, it was not the highest priced either, nice mid-range, and such wonderful meal and service. Portions are large. They had two lovely Croatian wine options and we selected a dryer one, on the recommendation of the server. We had two gentleman tend our table, one spoke no English but did his best to help when we needed it. The other took our order and offered things throughout the meal. This place has been here for years, and is so well kept. The decor was gorgeous, plenty of room between tables so it's not loud, but provides a nice atmosphere allowing conversation without difficultly hearing. We ordered appetizers, main meal, wine, and dessert, and it was all fabulous. Can't say enough nice things about it, if you're looking for a quality meal, especially after eating street food, try this. With its history, and quality chefs, this place is an amazing find.

Doči ćemo ponovo, i tople preporuke za sve. Fantastic place, amazing food, big portions, variety of dishes, prices are normal and quality high. Warm atmosphere. Great for everybody, especially families. Our teenager who is picky with food was so glad for the food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Berlin.
