Service and atmosphere were impeccable. Quality of the various dishes served was superb, pulling in new and unexpected flavors. Highly recommend the sake (or non-alcoholic) pairings as they enhance the meal significantly. You’re missing a major part of the flavor profile without them, which isn’t always the case with pairings. While the price may seem steep, it matches the quality of the ingredients and certainly the level of showmanship and service excellence. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In the meantime, however, Shiori has unfortunately become a money printing machine. We booked two places 6 weeks ago, after we had already missed two times on the waiting list. Shortly thereafter, Shiori debited EURO 380.00 from the aforementioned credit card account. Two 2! days before the planned visit to the restaurant, they booked us this money back. Unfortunately, there was no place left an error of the reservation system . No honest regret, no alternative suggestion, nothing. The truth is probably that several guests wanted to come together. All the marketing bluster about being a personal guest is now, unfortunately, just marketing. In contrast to professional marketing, however, the practice comes across as blatant to outrageous.
