I would recommend this place for that specific dish since I have never tried anything else in the two times we have been there. It has quite a relaxed atmosphere but I actually had a romantic date with my husband and it was also suitable for that. Low lights, great food and tasty (expensive) wine. Visiting this restaurant was one of the worst experiences we had my friends and i so far. we have made a reservation for 5 persons and we were there on time, we... read more Visiting this restaurant was one of the worst experiences we had my friends and i so far. we have made a reservation for 5 persons and we were there on time, we were only 3 when we arrived though. The waitress was more than just impolite, aggressive and disrespectful. She said that they/the system made a mistake in setting up the tables and therefore she couldn 't give us a table despite the fact that we reserved so obviously it wasn 't our fault. we asked her to give us a table for 3 as we had a long way to go there and she started yelling i quote what should i do? Sit you on someone s lap? then said u know what? just take any table i will just kick out the next people who come in and she ignored us and got back to work.so literally we were kicked out. that was very rude ? we were humiliated this is really unacceptable and unfair. i don 't know how people can hire so bad tempered people as waitress. If she can t handle her temper she can t be working as waitress.

The food was OK, bu... read more A bit of Swiss fare in Berlin. Apart from rösti and geschnetzeltes, they have of course cheese fondue. Which was our reason for going there. The food was OK, but not exceptional. The Kirsch came separately, so you could add to your liking. No (offer of) garlic. Enough bread and a nice side salad. Simple decor, not much atmosphere. Rather morose waitress, who dutifully fulfilled her tasks, but did not seem interested in the clientele.
