Beautiful restaurant with rustic ambience. The food is great and rich. Personal and service fit. The toilets are a staircase deeper and therefore not accessible to guests with a wheelchair. View all feedback.

What Karolina Jost dislikes about Schäferstübchen:
God mad, men de kom med den forkerte ret til den ene af os, så vi sad og spiste på skift da det skulle laves forfra. Og så tog de ikke imod betalingskort hvilket vi først fik besked om da vi var færdige og ville gå!Så maden var god, men servicen var ikke.Bordet overfor fik heller ikke det de havde bestilt! We were staying near here and were inspired by the previous review. Not disappointed! Walked through the park and around the lake, past some immaculate garden allotments to find this cosy and relaxed eatery.. Food is simple and well cooked. We both had tasty schnitzel and salad. Service was quick and it was reasonably priced. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

We loved the restaurant so much, we went two nights in a row. My husband had a Polish potato pancake with a meat stew on the first night and German meat dumplings on the second night. I had Polish meat dumplings on the first night and goose on the second night. We had apple strudel with ice cream for dessert. All of the food was delicious. The goose was a traditional St Martin's Day (11th November) dish. It was the biggest and most delicious meal that I have ever eaten. The beer and the Polish vodka and apple juice were very nice. There is a wide range of beers, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. The staff and customers are really friendly. They helped us to translate the menu as our Polish/German skills are limited. On the first night one of the staff googled the German word ganz and told us that it means goose. On the second night a member of staff showed us the klose dumplings because we were't sure what they were. The menu is in German, Polish and English, but ganz and klose were not translated because they were served as a St Martin's Day special. The food was very high quality, served in large portions and priced reasonably. We want to return to Berlin just to go to this restaurant again. It was wonderful. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This is a locals restaurant and it was fabulous! The ambiance was great for a very small but quaint restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was as good as you could ever want!

I can only recommend it to people who like very fatty food. The plate was also very carelessly garnished (not at all).

A very cozy restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices.
