I was so often at ruben’s arepas when I don’t feel like cooking. the vegan coleada is fresh every time. plantain, avocado, tomato, black beans in a delicious mais bag. and it is all gluten-free. perfectly seasoned coconut sauce on top. I always come back and at 6 € it won't break my bank. they sometimes get very busy at the weekend, so give them time for eating to be prepared. it is always fresh and always worth it. Unfortunately a little under-seasoned. It lacked pizzazz and the arepa itself was served rather cold. The Yuca Fries were cut way too thick. All in all, way too expensive for what is served. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close to the taste of an original arepa. I'd rather save the money and do it at home. View all feedback.

SO DELICIOUS. Got an Arepa Veggie, and a Vegan Bowl. Everything was amazing.
I have finally found the best arepas in Berlin, right here in the heart of Friedrichshain! This Venezuelan restaurant is a true gem. The arepas are simply perfect you can immediately tell that everything is made by hand. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and of the highest quality, which brings out the authentic taste even more. It feels like you're eating in Venezuela it tastes so original and genuine! The selection is large and each arepa is prepared with great attention to detail. The service was great too. The team is super friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even more pleasant. The shop itself is small, but very cozy and inviting. A perfect mix of family flair and great food. For me it's definitely the best place for arepas in Berlin. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!
I beleive these guys produce something unique, beautiful und delicious. Berlin definitely needs more places like this
