On arrival we had not decided to eat here but the fema... read more It was our first night in Berlin. Came here as it was close to our hotel and we did not want to walk far. On arrival we had not decided to eat here but the female host invited us in and we thought we would give it a try. They were quick to take our drink order and food order. Every thing was fine until our food arrived. My food was very nice however my wife ordered the knuckle of pork and it was cold. This pork was like it just came out of fridge. We waited 10minutes for our server who was dealing with a big group. We asked the host for help and she directed us back to our server who was useless. They told my wife it was her fault she waited too long to complain, (saying we had our food 30minutes in fact we only had it 12) and all they could do was replace it. We asked to speak to a manger to be told we couldn't. For our first night it berlin it was a terrible experience. I do not reccomend this place for anything

We had Grilled Fish with Potatoes and Chicken Pasta. Both were very good. They don't have a big collection of beer but the...regular Erdinger is available. We also ordered a cocktail which was nicely made. It's a decent place worth visiting.

The food is below mediocre and has nothing to do with Asian kitchen. The soup was lukewarm, the dumplings had nothing to do with dumplings, the rice dish was without taste … So: Bad. The waiter was a nice guy but...messed up the order so we got some other stuff than ordered and we missed the papaya salat. I don’t think we missed anything, but saved the money (after having argued about the missing dish … . The only reason I give it two stars is the room which is quite cozy and the fact that I found 25 euros on the floor. If you’re not that lucky to find additional cash when visiting the place you should definitely look for better alternatives ….

We took the recommendations: Pizza Buffalo and Salat Mondial (and 2 glasses of wine). Both were ok, fresh, portion was ok, but the appearance was minimalist: the pizza was with... Tomato sauce and buffalo cheese, the salad was a lot of green salad, some other things and 1 small tomatoes: You better expect recommandations! (With 1 eur more, they could make things much better. “Avarage” is the right word for the restaurant, I would not recommend it, and we took desert and coffee elsewhere...
