My daughter ordered and Aperol spr... read more We were staying at the hotel. Upon arrival it began to rain so we decided to sit and have a drink. The first time was lovely. My daughter ordered and Aperol spritz and. the drink was made very well. The ambiance is terrific. A few...days later they have a tea room which leads to an outside bar. we sat there to relax after a long day of touring. The server was horrible. We sat down and she did not come over until after a good 5 minutes and there was only one other couple there. My daughter orders an aperol spritz. It is not made the same way as the 1st one a couple of days earlier. She points to the server that it too white in color. Aperol has a an orange color. The server insists she made the right drink and does nothing. Some people should not be in the service business..Needless to say my wife was unhappy that I left a small tip. She thought the server deserved nothing.

We were amazed at the level... read more The first time we ate dinner at the Regent Hotel bar, it was pure for the convenience price – a late dinner after the Deutsche Oper. We were amazed at the level of service, comfort of the room and quality of the meal. The second time, we just take the Regent Bar because it's a great place to din. The ambience is quiet and welcoming, very relaxing, as many restaurants are often not. Service was fast and personal, with appealing conversations. Both dinners were wonderful: delicate schnitzel, with a generous part of the perfect potato salad and a marinated cucumber accompaniment, as well as excellently prepared pasta with fresh basil, spinach and cherry tomatoes. Prices were appropriate for food and beverages. The experiences characterize the welcoming atmosphere and emphasize the excellence that Regent Hotel Berlin is, and Regent Bar is also a destination.

We were in the Regent, and were here... read more Remember that this is a bar in a top hotel, and prices that go with it is really nice. Give it a miss if you're a Eng-Wad. We were in the Regent, and were here 7 nights out of nine, eat 3 times....Scarvings, curry sausage, meatballs all about good. Friendly bar staff. Local beer Rollbach is tasty, decent cocktails, although a somewhat eccentric interpretation of what makes a good Pimm.
