We thought we try something different a trip advisor ratings were encouraging .. but the warning signs were there.. verbal menu with almost no choice ..3 course... read more We thought we try something different a trip advisor ratings were encouraging .. but the warning signs were there.. verbal menu with almost no choice ..3 courses were presented a salad just butter lettuce with a few slices of cucumber and a dressing); followed...by stodgy potato dumplings (edible but bland) and a strawberry gelato... a couple of glasses of organic “pretty ordinary wine” and a bill of over €50 a head. Only good thing was we will laugh about the experience for years to come but be warned!

I like that fakt a LOT. sometimes you come to visit bistro like Platz Doch! is and you just don't feel nothing. but this is really not about that place. the food is based on local sources. we had a fresh dill souce with fantasticly grilled sousage with freshly made salad. and fantastic home made ice cream (we doubled ice cream, cause we all scream for ice cream). they also have pretty nice range of beautiful live : ) wines (mostly central european production). if you stay (or are) in Berlin and hang around Kreuzberg, go to see the girls in Platz Doch! a enjoy the food and their hospitality and company! you're about to have good times! it's worth of!

No problem fo... read more This place is a real surprise. We were there with our team for a small Christmas party and had a lot of intolerances and special requests with us. No problem for the two great cooks who created a wonderful menu for us with excellent, exciting wines. I'm very particular when it comes to food and this was the first time that I really enjoyed all the dishes. They were finely balanced, beautifully presented and prepared with love. We were also allowed to cook ourselves and had a wonderful time. I can only thank you very much for this wonderful experience in a great atmosphere. It was a great pleasure for me to be a guest here.
