Shortly after placing the order, I received a call informing me that one flavor was unavailable. They asked me to choose another, but it felt more like I was being told than asked. Then came the comment that set the tone for the entire experience: “Next time, order a drink. We do not deliver just ice cream. We are being nice with you this time.” That line changed everything. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I felt like I was being scolded for placing a simple order. It came across as condescending and left me feeling uncomfortable. I offered to cancel the order if it was a problem, but they refused and told me to cancel it myself. That felt like they were shifting the responsibility onto me. After a delay, I contacted Uber Eats for a refund. Just a few minutes later, the delivery arrived, but since the order had already been canceled, I declined it. The delivery person responded with passive aggressive behavior that felt unprofessional and unnecessary. This was my first and last experience with this restaurant. I am not writing this to attack them, and I never even got to try their actual food. I simply want to share how one comment made the whole interaction feel unwelcoming. Ironically, I could have just taken the ice cream anyway. But I guess I am being nice this time.
