The lady serving us didn't speak much... read more We called here on our way back from hohenschönhausen memorial and were pleased to find somewhere to rest our aching feet. The lady serving us didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much German but she was very helpful and patient with us nonetheless....The food was amazing (I am a vegetarian and found it difficult to find somewhere in Berlin where both myself and my carnivore partner could eat. I had a big salad with feta cheese and fried Camembert. Lovely food, lovely staff and reasonably priced. The waitress was also very quick to come back to us with the bill/drinks etc when we asked which was rare in Berlin. Thank you for a lovely meal

The owner ?? was very pleasant and offered the menu quickly. She took the order and the food came pretty fast. A few...more came in. The food was so delicious! Seemed like it was truly made for us. It was fresh and hot. Nothing fancy but great comfort food. The other tables were also friendly. Thank you!!

The menu featured an unusual duck and goose stew, which was well done, but reminded me why I don't eat duck and goose on a regular basis. It's not worth a detour to eat there, but it...is a good choice for anyone heading to/from the Hohenschoenhausen Memorial.

The only downside was that finding a parking space was really difficult if you were driving. Otherwise, full marks. I'd gladly come again.
