The shop was conveniently located across the str... read more Philomenis is a cute delicatessen specialised in Mediterranean food that I had the pleasure to visit in Berlin. The shop was conveniently located across the street from the hotel I stayed in, so it was a great place to stop for some delicious cappuccino and cakes on a cold Berlin afternoon. The place is very cosy and the owner, Stephanie, speaks fluent English which means Philomenis is definitely tourist-friendly! Stephanie is also a very sweet and kind person, who was extremely helpful when I forgot my backpack in there. So, if you are strolling around Charlottenburg or Knesebeckstraße do yourself a favor and enter this beautiful little shop, you definitely won't regret it!

Lovely homemade food whi... read more Visited here as it was opposite our hotel we were staying in and was hungry when we 1st checked in. So glad we stumbled into this cafe. Lovely homemade food which was translated for us into English by the lovely lady working there. We had mousakka and a veggie lasagne which were both so tasty, washed down with a carrot and ginger juice. The desserts looked amazing but we opted for a couple of handmade chocolate truffles, delicious. Not cheap but well worth the money.

This time, I had a very tasty Vegetable Quiche with a small green salad. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere of this establishment and I must say that the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the dishes served there.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the Charlottenberg area of Berlin.
