Delicious royal (lamb) tagine with almonds, plums and apricot accompanied by fresh home made white bread. Fairly dimmer lights (good for light sensitive people). Traditional smooth sounding music medium-low volume perfect! Friendly staff. Not too many people chatting quietly. Very pleasant calm atmosphere. Delicious fruity alc free shot with the bill. We sat in the inner corner with extra privacy option.
We visited on a Sunday evening 18:30–20:00). Only two other tables were occupied and the room was silent apart from fridge noise, so the atmosphere felt flat. Cash‑only sign on the door), so we had to find an ATM. Several appetisers were unavailable; we had Laadess, Fassolia and Foul. Portions were tiny about 4–5 tablespoons) at €4.70+ each. Mint tea €7) turned very bitter because the leaves were left steeping the whole time. Mains: two couscous lamb and chicken) and two tagines. Couscous was wet rather than light, vegetables tasted like stock trimmings, and meat portions—especially lamb—were very small. Seasoning leaned heavily on cumin without depth. Tagines seemed reheated in serving dishes; sauce lacked reduction, served with a small roll similar to a frozen bun. A few basic green olives were included, but no preserved lemon/prunes/almonds. Prices as per menu: couscous chicken €17.50, lamb €20; tagine vegan €15.90, meat €21.50. Portions could fill you, but we left some chicken couscous because it wasn’t compelling. We left without a goodbye from staff. Overall: cash‑only, limited availability, small pricey starters, wet couscous with modest meat, reheated‑feeling tagines, and subdued atmosphere. Disappointing, especially compared with traditional service and quality we’ve experienced elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return.
The food is absolutely not tasty at all. These dishes could be done much much better. I wouldn’t come to this place again and wouldn’t recommend, just waste of money, besides the food is not cheap Main course starts from 20,5 euro but it’s not worth its money at all
1st time trying Moroccan food in my life, we randomly stumbled upon it, and I suggested to my friends to check it out. Food was amazing, the chicken? Immaculate. Once we finished our meal, the waiter was kind enough to treat us with some Moroccan drink. I will always appreciate Arab/Moroccan hospitality. You guys are awesome, God bless.
