Went for dinner Sunday night and was very satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere. Waiter was friendly but not too friendly, helped us make decisions for side dishes, and brought the food out at a proper time (when it's too quick I need to question the food prep). Important note: one would benefit to come with at least some German knowledge, as It seemed that there were only German menus and German speaking wait staff. I ordered the meat platter, and it was a lot of meat. For 15.50 it could have fed two normal-appetite people. I had a problem finishing it and I'm a fairly large guy who just came from a heavy workout at the gym. Every type of meat had an individual flavor to it, and all with a nice, smokey grill flavor that was not too overbearing. The included appetizer salad that came before the main dish was simple, but tasty and fresh. The fried feta cheese was also lightly battered and cooked to the right crispiness. Overall, fantastic experience, will come again for seafood!

What a huge disappointment. We were so looking forward to this place, and, overall, I give credit to the chef for preparing some wonderful food. We were an American and a Russian/Israeli/German, and at first the folks were really friendly, but then the waiter became embarrassed by our questions we both speak some German my friend much more than I and understood the menu perfectly well, but were asking detailed questions and the waiter didn't understand, and also an extremely RUDE group at the next table was giggling loudly at my friend's German pronunciation, so the waiter eventually became exasperated and simply walked away. We though about leaving at that point, but decided to stay. As I said, some of the the food was more or less good, though FAR TOO overpriced for this neighborhood, and it was clear that the waiter simply wanted to get us in and out as quickly as possible. My chicken souvlaki had a sickly sweet mustard/honey sauce is that even Greek? underneath that tasted like bad pub food, but the gyro was really tasty. the fried peppers were tasty, but, REALLY, two tiny peppers for 3 euros? Ironically, my friend and I both decided to try the inexpensively priced table wine and I think in a restaurant like this, the quality of the table wine is a great indicator of what is to come... . Guess what? It was really good, but the waiter insistently tried to steer us to the other wines, which were twice the price. Unfortunately, there are some really great Greek restaurants in Berlin, and this one was rated, well... one star at best. Sorry. Incredibly disappointing experience.
