As bad as that game was, as great was the experience of drinking and dining in a very authentic local „Kiez“ (neighborhood) . Somewhat surprisingly, with that very German Name...of the venue and the location in Schoeneberg, most dishes were Asian. Service was great despite an over capacity crowd. Very moderately priced snacks, appetizers, and main dishes were served quickly, fresh and hot. Vietnamese spring rolls were as good as anywhere I have had them in Vietnam. Good selection of wine , even Prosecco, in short, very special place off the beat and track

The food selection there is mesmorizing with an outstanding number of dishes to choose from. Mutter has both a bar and restaurant atmosphere with amazing drinks. They have an...outside seating area right in the heart of Berlin. I had sort of a coconut milk soup with veggies and some rice and I couldn't get enough of it(#43 I believe on the menu), but it was the BEST. If I wasn't so full after that dish, I could've probably ordered some more. I will definitely be making a trip back when I come back to Berlin.

It's very different from the normal Thai restaurants which can seem very cheesy. This is definitely a pleasant atmosphere to be in with good music. We got it as a recommendation from our German friends who really like the place too
