Set breakfast plates are amazing and beautiful (Italian/Swiss/Spanish etc) and the crepe breakfast was a perfect way to start my birthday. A little more expensive than some...other places we visited, but well worth it.

The waitress was friendly and the waffles I... read more This was the first place we stopped at after arriving in Berlin and getting off at Gorlitzer Bhf near our apartment. The waitress was friendly and the waffles I ordered were delicious however due to the size of the waffles I could have done with...more maple syrup as they were very dry by the end. My girlfriend had the Alpine veggie burger which she said was delicious. Not that cheap (waffles were 5.90 and burger was 9 euros) but a nice place to eat outside on a sunny day. Only other thing to mention was that the wooden benches outside were full of splinters and my partner ended up with a huge splinter embedded in her leg on the first day of our trip which wasn't ideal!

More than 40 years ago here in Kreuzberg squatter took several houses. in one of these houses is now café na. we were here for the first time. what a nice caffe... read more More than 40 years ago here in Kreuzberg squatter took several houses. in one of these houses is now café na. we were here for the first time. what a nice caffe in kreuzberg! the flows on the...Wanden are restored from a Moroccan palast. our waitress was very friendly and the whole place is a warm welcome! the breakfast is mouthwatering. there is something for everyone. vegetarian, lower carb, meat lover and sweeter tooth, which makes her ever happy, they can find it here. they have a selection of fresh brewed tea or coffee. Also there is a lot of typical berliner warm meals. the toilets are clean, which is today an important kriterium) yes, it is a bit expensive where it is located, that is the only negative point we can say about the caffe na. we will definitely return to the beautiful breakfast.

I was craving a burger yesterday on the 4th of July (Go 'Mericuh! and my boyfriend randomly suggested we try this spot. I was skeptical, but agreed. Damn yo. This place throws a curve on all the other burger joints around the hood. The burger here was large, well prepared and savory. The burger was juicy. The patties weren 't weird or gristly, but tasted like proper well seasoned meat. The onions were tasty and the tomatoes were fresh. 6-8€ gets you the burger of your choice fries combo, which is pretty awesome. That said, I 'd have to rank this place as #1 on my list of burger favorites, effectively knocking Hamburger Heaven off it 's throne. Two burgers, a water, a large Coke and a double espresso 21€. NOTE: I 've noticed that it seems almost impossible to find a proper American style burger in Berlin. That said, Morena 's burgers are the closest I 've found to a basic diner style burger, like something you 'd find at Odessa 's in the East Village or Waverly 's on the west side.

A bit overpriced though, in my opinion. Bread is served warm what could be better than that?! What really impressed me was service, our waitress was just like in a dream nice, helpful, smiling, radiating positive energy.
