I found the pe... read more The marlene bar, named after the famous German singer and actress marlene deitrich, is a very demanding place to meet with colleagues or friends. I found the personal rather warm and friendly and I enjoyed my "marlene hamburger" supposedly remembered how they enjoyed their hamburger. the pommes were crisp and crisp. thanks to an excellent barista, my coffee was perfect and the small disc free chocolate cake was divine I tried a glass of German foam wine, but it was just okay. I'm looking forward to the return.

Inside it is very comfortable, but they can also enjoy the terrace. we had some great cocktails, mixed with maik, the experienced chef de bar. we appreciated knowing about cocktails and liked to follow his advice. when they drink something, they get something to drink. we had dry ham, cheesectackers, olivers with crumbles. we had a good meal there too.

If you go to the bar alone, it takes forever to be served—10-15 minutes, in fact—even though the bar is empty. Seven employees stand around chatting instead of attending to the customer. Tips are simply pocketed without asking. Friendly service is something else entirely. It's also a shame that you can't order in German anymore in Germany. I can't recommend it.
