Il terzo giorno abbiamo chiesto una torta in occasione del compleanno di mio fratello e ce ne hanno fatta una davvero bella.

De bediening was erg... read more Tijdens een citytrip met vrienden hier komen dineren. De laag stof op de lampenkapjes boven de tafels gaf al niet zo'n goede eerste indruk. De bediening was erg koel voor een Italiaans restaurant. Het eten liet erg lang op zich wachten de kwaliteit was matig (in tegenstelling tot de prijs). Er zijn legio alternatieven in Berlijn die een betere prijs/kwaliteit bieden.

The food took an hour to reach the table not a good start. The risotto was not cooked and sent back to the kitchen. Most likely microwaved and bought back exactly the same. The waiter said it was al dente but there...is a huge difference between this and rice being crunchy. We had to ask for it to be removed from the bill as it was untouched. (They did eventually remove it from the bill) Tinned mushrooms in several dishes??? Really??? Drinks where overpriced. Especially soft drinks (more expensive than beer) also in the final bill they where more expensive than on the menu. So after bad service and bad food the waiter complained that the tip wasn't big enough!!! Avoid at all costs. I have had better Italian food at pizza express.

At o'clock on a Saturday...evening we had expected more people in the restaurant which worried us. However there was no need to fear.. From the moment we walked into the starched tablecloth covered tables our fears were laid to rest. The waiter (I should have asked his name) was very welcoming, attentive but not over attentive. The food was exceptional as was the wine. We had starter, main course with wine and sparkling water which came to a very reasonable Euro We will definitely be back before we go home.
