Nice place around the church and right behind the busy street tourists. They also have duvel beer from Belgium and Moosehead from Canada! Most of the drinks are quite basic in the sense that they can be found in many of the bars around. Prices are fair for the location and the terrasse is very big. Inside it is a smoking bar and the tables are pretty and the general feel is Cosy. The crowd is a mix of German people and foreigners. I have a frist good impression and especially with the duvel beer! Too bad they don't have chouffe or other Belgian beers! Big heart for the Canadian moose! The area needs more craft beer from around the world!
A great space with indoor and outdoor seating, nice bar tenders and a comfortable environment. Drinks are reasonably priced although a little average/ just fine. They are open late and a great spot to casually meet a friend. Love the view onto the street into the church, tucked away but still lively. I visited several times while staying in Berlin and I would absolutely come back if in the city again. Equal mix of local and tourist. just laid back and nice.
Sat alone in this bar for hours; wifi didn't work, drink was ok, bartender was shy. And yet? I can't put my finger on it, but I love this place. It's completely unassuming, and after around 5, the locals start filing in. Good sign. It's definitely a dive, but walking in, for some reason, I felt instantly relaxed. Perfect place to go to have a private conversation with someone and still feel like you're out.
Nice cafe/bar to hang out after a work day or during a lazy Sunday afternoon in the summer.
This is a great bar, very friendly staff with Augustiner on tap! It has a very cozy atmosphere and amazing outdoor seating in the summer, and in a great location! I would highly recommend it!
