The staff were great and the place has good food and an interesting wine list. Not far from Checkpoint Charlie and across the road from the concert house. We had waited for a long time at Maximilians but none of the lederhosen-wearing waiters there took any notice of us so we walked away and luckily found this place. Not disappointed and hope one day to return. Danke schon.

Excellent food…simple bread service belies what is to come…delightful salad, heartwarming soup, incredible depth of flavor saurbraten beef and the best kaiserschmarnn for dessert! Indeed, the kaiserschmarnn may be one of the best desserts of my life! The service was super pleasant…plenty of smiles and laughs. Cannot wait to return in 4 nights!
