The entire menu was devoted to wild boar, the day's special... read more Our friend who lives around the corner from this creative local gem took us there last Sunday night. The entire menu was devoted to wild boar, the day's special, with a huge carcass prominently displayed in the middle of the main room. Arriving late, our choice was pretty much limited to what was left...just as well, as it was a true delight. Starting with a delicious soup of cream of mushrooms and various roots, we were then confronted with enormous plates of delightfully flavoured and tender boar, complete with heaps of seasonal trimmings. Being the last ones in the place, we were offered seconds to our hearts' content. Service was good fun. Once we broke through the characteristic grumpiness of your typical Berlin waiter, we much enjoyed his quick wit and irony. The menu changes regularly, and each new special is well worth a visit, our friend assures us. We will certainly try Lucas again.

Die Linsen waren spitze und... read more Einfach eingerichtetes Restaurant mit eine kleiner, aber feinen Auswahl an schwäbischen Spezialitäten. Ich hatte Linsen mit Spätzle. Die Linsen waren spitze und die Spätzle gut. Die Würstchen schön knackig. Man kann zwischen kleiner und normaler Portion wählen. Die Kleine wäre voll ausreichend gewesen :-) Unbedingt die tolle Fassbrause - vom Fass - probieren!!!
