an evening dinner alla xxl which is impossible to create. if you are close to berlin or berlin and you would like to go to eat xxl, then you should definitely visit the louis restaurant in new carols . the personal is very nice and to happen. the map offers a lot from the largest capital carving to the kxxl imiserschmarn and it east for everyone. if you are on a homemade xxl, you are right at the right place. we were... What Patrizia Köhler doesn't like about Louis:
carvings are big. the panade of the calfscarnage tasted, just like the meat. the bratkartoffelns were not reluctant, but faded and lappy. the pork was O.K., the bratkartoffeln see above. The Austrian waiter told us that the berliner had no taste, so the fresh bratkartoffeln would only be served at lunchtime, in the evening the licker. they wouldn't have any idea. Big loud group of us and the service was top class. that was delicious. I have the greatest shinitzel to share, I would recommend. the waiter behind the bar was very friendly. good cheap beer also. a must.
Really good Austrian cuisine with one of the friendly waiters I have ever met! a fast delicious journey over the border!
Servus! can't express how much I love this place. When I first went, it was on the january when we were friends in berlin, we found the place randomly. Since then I wanted to go back, but I couldn't remember where it was. my partner and I have been living in the neighbourhood and in one of our walks we found louis (again). my partner is from bayern, near the border to Austria, and he also found louis quite adorable. the place is very cozy and it really brings it from hectic, hip and noisy neukolln to a picturesque place in the middle of the mountain. the largest schinitzel in the capital is in berlin not only in size, but also in taste the largest. they can either share it with someone else, or they can take it home and have a bit of heaven later. we have recently also discovered that they have carved sandwiches to go and served during lunch, and what a discovery that they also have various stuffings and a delicious apfelstrudel. the carving is the inevitable star. if they manage to eat most of them, they can also order a shot of obstler and they will feel better immediately.
Beautiful little restaurant in iltas I had the filet bark stroganoff the bark was still a little pink cooked and was very delicate, beautiful. it cooked (from the menu) a tomaten spaghetti for my sohn, which was also beautiful and very appreciated cooked. my partner. the special trip for his starter and was very satisfied. the house white and red also very nice and service was fantastic. very pleased we visited the restaurant luois and would return to try more dishes they have on their menu!
Schnitzel is RIDICULOUSLY big. There is absolutely no reason for such a huge portion unless it is to be shared amongst a village of people. I cannot stress this enough : the size of it is absolutely insane, it covers an entire wide plate. I...mean this could be the biggest schnitzel in the existence of schnitzels and guys, this isn’t remotely fun. It should have been on the menu as some sort of challenge of “can you eat a KILOGRAM of frozen, reheated schnitzel, and if you can the food is free”. I mean what cut from the animal even IS that big?” But it’s not. The taste of it was disgusting ‘twas bland and tasted reheated. Potatoes hiding under the slab of meat and thankfully so because they also tasted frozen\reheated. Couldn’t even make it past the mark and my friend ate half of his. The rest we asked to take away to give to someone homeless. This is only a review on the schnitzel so if you’re planning to go for something else look elsewhere. Steer away from the schnitzel.
