We visit often, since it opened. Food is delicious, especially the pasta, big portions. Good beer (Pilsner Urquell on tap) and cocktails, good WiFi also. One of the best places in the area. Some negative reviews here may relate to bakery next door (actually a nice spot but yes sometimes grumpy)

Love this little bakery cafe!! I stayed in Berlin for a month and this was my go to cafe. It feels more authentic and less overdone than some of the other ones... read more Love this little bakery cafe!! I stayed in Berlin for a month and this was my go to cafe. It feels more authentic and less overdone than some of the other ones in the area. The latte macchiato with oatmilk is delish and served really nicely in a big glass, the butter croissant is very good, their sandwiches and salads are also very nice, and special mention for the Franz brutchen, a sort of mix between a croissant and a cinnamon roll, which is amazing! They also are one of the only cafes to open really early in the morning which is a plus. The service is pretty variable: I was once greeted by a not so amiable young man, but mostly it was a very nice woman who doesn’t speak English but was extremely patient in helping me figure out what the pastries were, even looking them up on her phone for me. I would definitely recommend :
