This place is awesome. It looks like a butchers but is actually entirely veggie friendly with lots of different meat free burger combos and sausages to choose from. Great for a healthy and tasty vegetarian meal (for vegetarians and meat eaters). Highly recommend.
I've been in the restaurant/store multiple times and enjoyed every visit. When you enter the restaurant you first face a shelf like in a butchers shop, filled with handmade seitan and tofu creations. The products sold look like fake flesh, even if the owners insist on producing 'own creations without the the need to fake anything'. Fake or not, I highly recommend to buy stuff here and cook it back home. the gyros and ground pork are my highlights, as you can try your own creations like meatballs back home. The products sold are produced by the owners themselves and the ingredients (everything's organic!) are produced locally in the state of Brandenburg (the countryside surrounding Berlin). The small restaurant corner is nice and clean, you can try here the seitan and tofu creations if you don't want to wait until you're home or if you are too lazy to cook. You can't get different dishes as sandwiches or on a plate like meatballs and Kraut or classics like a gyros sandwich.I can as well highly recommend the burgers, even if I only had the chance to try one - the BBQ burger was one of the best vegan burger I've eaten so far! All products sold are vegan, organic and locally produced. Go try!
Burgers are very tasty, they can also buy the patties right in front of location or even at the place.
I am somewhat fascinated by the “button-like” ad full of delicious looking food. The only unusual thing is that this display is completely vegan. I love trying to find out what is possible without meat. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to give up on meat, but I just love trying everything out there. This time I went to the “Smokey Seitan Platter” and my friend went to the BBQ Burger. We both left absolutely satisfied. Definitely worth a try!
