In the west of Berlin, it is not always as easy to find a delicious, crafty, cafe-snob style coffee, that might be easier to find in other parts of the city. Well, if you are passing by S-bahn station Bundesplatz, this is the place! Situated on a smaller side street that joins Südwestkorso, it is 5 mins from the station. This little cafe has a nice outside sitting area, or you can sit inside along side some artwork.... View all feedback.

Test their vegan banana bread and carrot cake. I liked both. in any case back!
Some of us are coffee-maniacs, like others are crazy about wines - well, some of us are both ...... In any case, here they know how to make it just right. The foam of the cappuccino has just the right consistency, not some airy fluff or liquidy milk, no, exactly the right thickness which deliciously dissolves on your tongue. Since the renovation, there is a large kitchen where they also make a number of perfect pastries. Try the "dead dog" (Toter Hund) and definitely the chocolate cake. For breakfast, you can enjoy a fresh juice with hot pain au chocolate (photo). When the sun is out, the terrace is lovely, otherwise sit inside on 3(!) different levels. Hey, when you are visiting Berlin, surely one of the more original places to have breakfast in bed in their guest-room. Definitely one of my favourite coffee places in Berlin - and I've been at quite a few.
I discovered Lehmbrucks in the street of my Couchsurfing hosts. I tried their cappuccino and pain au chocolat and I must say that they were DELICIOUS! It was so good that I went there three times during my stay in Berlin!!! They will give you a card which they will stamp every time you order something and you will get a free drink at the end. I like the idea! I'm very demanding on the quality of that kind of products since I'm half French and half Italian so I know when it's good or not. I highly recommend Lehmbrucks if you wish to taste good products then! Also, Lasko, one of the two owners, greeted me and took some time to chat with me about the origins of the cafe's name and he also introduced me to their bedroom which they rent if you need somewhere to sleep in the area. For your info, it's near Bundesplatz U+S station so it's very convenient. To conclude, I felt so good at Lehmbrucks that it was my favorite cafe while I was in Berlin. The day I left, I walked in front of the cafe and I saw Lasko inside so we waved to each other to say bye! It was really nice! :-) Alright, go and check it out guys! You'll love it! PS: the owners are Lasko and Marco, both very charming and friendly. :-)

Staff are relaxed and friendly, and the is service quick. Highly recommend for your coffee break!
