Le Gapias - Berlin

I was on a French kick in the last few months and tried to find the best Croque Madames and Sweets in Berlin. For French pastries, this cafe terrace Prenzlauerberg offers the best. Le Gapias is simple; it shows pastries, quiche and sandwiches in their showcases; no prepared breakfast. If you come for lunch, the choices can be somewhat limited, such as quiche salad, or a baguette sandwich. For breakfast you can have a croissant with a hot drink, but no butter and jam; only the croissant. Or another pastry! The croissants, together with the other pastries, are delicieux. The layers are flaky, buttery and separated. The almond croissants have the right contrast between the sweet filling and the hearty croissant. The lemon tart has pieces of lemon during filling, not only a thin lemon slice above. Some French goods are available for purchase, wine and cremant, but also chocolates, salt, flavoured butter spreads, teas and salaricorne/samphire, a herb of salt herb that goes with fish or vegetables. The owner says they focus on the Atlantic coast. This place is the real deal. En plus, the chairs remind me of the café chairs in Paris.
I like this cake so much and imported coffee from France. Great. The typical French cakes and coffee! High quality coffee set and cutlery and quiche for the afternoon.
