All the dishes are made by daily and fresh ingredients.The Atmosphere was relaxing. All in all, I would say a fulfilling experience...right to be back for an assaggino!!!

We went to this small restaurant in Kreuzberg on a Tuesday evening to have an unforgettable dining experience!We had the VISA Concierge Service make our reserva... read more We went to this small restaurant in Kreuzberg on a Tuesday evening to have an unforgettable dining experience!We had the VISA Concierge Service make our reservation by phone in advance (the restaurant does not take reservations through the website) and when we were there we found it completely empty - then we were told that the restaurant was not supposed to open that day, as they were preparing for New Year’s eve. But Danilo, the owner, and his wife OPENED THE PLACE JUST FOR US! How considerate!!! Room decoration is warm, featuring a big wine rack and a refrigerated counter where you can see the very fresh ingredients he gets every day in the marketplace. Christmas elements were still decking the walls and the front window, adding a special magic to the place.The evening flowed in a very relaxed atmosphere. Danilo is a very talented chef, who can cook real Italian food – and delicious, of course! We had a three-course menu with very fresh antipasti, a delicious linguini al frutti di mare accompanied by a bottle of nero d’avola and divine profiteroles for dessert. At the end, he offered us an aged grappa of his own cellar. Wow! I could never describe how tasteful it was!He and his Russian wife are a very nice couple, and they gave us full attention through the night. It was like we had known each other for a long time. Their generous welcome made us feel at home!
