Was Jailyn Wilkinson at Klx a mag?
WOW. I never had Egypt scattered food, but this is a MUST when you are in Berlin!! We just stumbled about going to another restaurant for dinner. It was such a lively little place, and so cheap!!! It's vegetarian, I'm far from it. But meat lovers... let it go! My partner did it and he had seconds!! I had the Koshary, my partner had the Fatta Hummus and we also got the homemade dips; Sahaweq/Zhoug. SUPERB. I wish we h... View all feedback.
What Helga Voigt dislikes about Klx:
The restaurant advertises itself as Egyptian street food; I am Egyptian and this food is nothing like Egyptian cuisine. The food tastes good for someone who doesn't know how it tastes. The owner speaks Arabic (with an accent), but still... don't seem to know how to make Egyptian signature food. I tasted his reconstructed version of Om Ali and it drowns in Marmelade and gives you such a sugar brush that is nothing lik... View all feedback.

Great little place to have authentic Egyptian delicacies like Koshari ( lentils, rice, noodles in a tomato,garlic-vinegar sauce),Hawawshi( bread stuffed with spicy minced meat), Foul with tomatoes ( Fava beans) ,nice lebanese wines etc. A little place to enjoy these actually street food type of meals in Egypt but done with love and imagination by Michael and his team, keep it up folks, want a taste of Egypt enjoy a chilled lebanese Rose or Karkadeh( Hypiscus) in the middle of the city, have a look.!!!!!!!
A cat jumps from the Kudamm. Tasteful and authentic dishes. Very recommended! Especially the roasted eggplant and then a delicious Uum Ami .
Superlecker Koshary. Absolute recommendation. Also very nice on the terrace.
What a great restaurant! We were very lovingly cared and hosted. The team consists of very nice and hospitable people. The food is very special, so best to bring some time and eat in peace. Because the intensity of the spices unfolds when you really enjoy the food. The facility is welcoming, the photos on the walls invite you to a peaceful trip to the Middle East. A real pearl in Charlottenburg!
The first time oriental for me. I'm thrilled. It was very tasty and saturating. is recommended

The restaurant advertises itself as Egyptian street food ; I am Egyptian and this food is nothing like Egyptian cuisine. The food tastes good though for someone who doesn 't know what it is supposed to taste like. The owner speaks Arabic (with an accent), but still doesn 't seem to know how to make Egyptian signature food. I tasted his reconstructed version of Om Ali and it is drowning in jam and gives you such a sugar rush which is nothing like the original dessert. Also: Food is NOT HALAL. Super expensive for street food The food portions are so small in comparison to the price you pay.
