Contribute Feedback What Leonhard Herbst doesn't like about Khushi:
I have been living in berlin since january, and I have searched everywhere for Indian foods that fulfill my preference that it will be a bit on the spicy side. it seems that the German palette is rather less spicy, so everywhere I do it. is not spicy enough for me and it is too salty. I finally found it! it was not just the spiciness. the wiper was also amazing. the chai was also great. I found my Indian fix. there i... View all feedback.
The food here was quite good, and Kollwitzstrasse is a really nice area. It was great to have some spicy, well-flavored food after all the bland food we ate in Munich. Ambience is average to good.
Wir essen oft indisch und kennen zahlreiche tolle indische Restaurants in Europa.Das Khushi in Berlin toppt alles! Ausgezeichnetes, reichhaltiges Essen und tolle Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder!
We sat outdoors on a lovely balmy evening. Plates and cutlery were brought to the table and left to the side along with napkins. Our dishes were then brought in separate serving bowls so we helped ourselves. My Chicken Saag was really tasty, and served with steamed rice on the side. House wine was inexpensive and very palatable. Staff attentive but aloof. I would very much recommend this eating house for atmosphere and tasty food.
Spokojna i klimatyczna restauracja. Bardzo duży wybór dań. Dania bardzo dobre, ciekawie podane. Smakowo idealne. Gorąco polecam.
I'm a pretty critical Indian food consumer. I judge a meal by its CTM (aka chicken tikka masala). Naan is a close second. This food was genuinely good. Not the "It was better than I've eaten in Leicester, UK" great but it was damn good. The portions were nearly perfect for one person. We had a chicken korma as well as a lamb vindaloo (which, I'm told was milder than expected, despite our requests for "scharf") which was said to be very, very flavourful. The rice was perfectly cooked and the naan (both buttered and garlic) was generous and flavourful. The meal was far less expensive, even considering the euro, than in North America. It really is very good! I won't mention names, but of the three Indian dinners we had this past 10 days, it was far and away, the best. Not adequate - genuinely good!
