The café is located at the Mercure Hotel am Wittenbergplatz on the corner opposite the Volksbank. The first impression was very good, a beautiful cake counter and appealing furniture. We sat in the back room in the cocktail chair directly on the window and had to wait long until we got the card. Then I expect a certain selection of teas in a café in this area and with these prices, and also that the waiter can call me these if they are not already listed on the map. My sister then ordered a green tea and I got a simple cup of coffee and a piece of cake. The kitchen was pretty tidy and the coffee tasted good. But the service was more than average. What disturbed me was the big table right behind our seat group. When people sit, they spit you in the neck and for example you see your phone from above, so close this table on us. In the overall package it is therefore only sufficient for 3 stars.

For breakfast you can choose, for example, the sweet small bread selection, with nutella, forest honey, cherry or strawberry jam, small crepe filled with fruits and quark for 5,90 € or the Mediterranean bread selection fresh baguette, tomato mozzarella with homemade basil umpesto, olives, parmaschinkens, Italian salami, dried tomatoes, and more My wife chose the Mediterranean, I once again took three mirror eggs with bacon and onion, which did not stand on the map, but they still prepared me, at no cost for 4,90 € In addition we ordered tea, the glass for 2,50 € and a box of coffee for 3,90 € Everything was served quite quickly, it was really nicely dressed and at all large portions, and the mirror eggs prefabricated with yellow.
