This was the kitchen & bar attached to our hotel, we went there for a Cosmopolitan both nights, we were pretty much the only people there both nights. The barman nailed those Cosmopolitans , some of the best I've ever had! View all feedback.

I've been to Juniper three times now - and I just booked a reservation for another visit in a couple of weeks. The menu features German regional cooking, but with carefully sourced raw ingredients and prepared with Michelin-class care. Every meal I've had was simply outstanding.Located in the Schöneberg district, this may be off the beaten track for some, but it's well worth the EUR 10 for a taxi from, say, Alexanderplatz. The restaurant can be tough to spot from the street - it is on the ground floor of the Axel Hotel, noted for its gay vibe. (The restaurant also has occasional drag shows and other special events, if you're interested)But back to the food. First, you must try their cocktails, which are exceptional, particularly those containing their bespoke gins (hence the name "Juniper"). For starters, if the pumpkin soup is on the menu, try it! It is truly delicious. And the ravioli pillows are as good as anything I've ever tasted. For mains, all of the dishes are as tasty as they are beautiful. I particularly like the lamb. And don't miss a side of their truffle fries, which are absolutely an experience to remember.Honestly, this is really a restaurant that is worth visiting. Fantastic value for money.
Delicious, inventive, original international cuisine in the heart of the gay district in Schöneberg. Fun drag shows, friendly serves and a lively atmosphere make this a great stop for dining in Berlin.
Picked this off the trip advisor site as looking somewhere local to the hotel to eat. Cannot fault the food and the ravioli that was raved about on all the reviews was true to form and the best ever eaten. Staff were very friendly and perfect mix of attentive but not overly so. we went on a Thursday evening and were the only diners for most of out time there however point to note that it is situated at the Axel hotel which is a very gay-friendly hotel and the restaurant does have an act twice a week along that theme - we weren't going as a gay couple and it was fine as no show but you might want to pick carefully your evening depending on whether this your thing or not.
Really enjoyed eating and drinking at Juniper! The front of house greeting was warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was cool and stylish. I would recommend this to anyone traveling through Berlin, you won't be disappointed!
