We were upstairs for drinks late in the evening. There was cozy atmosphere to talk for hours with friends. Good prices, amazing cocktails and our waiter was so professional, funny and friendly. We got nachos with dips for free. It was literally the best service I have gotten in years, absolute perfection.
Must visit for having good time. Decent sound system, good people, DJ stage is just right for short and cosy gathering. Have english bands, although they address in german throughout but overall recommended.
The staff were very nice. Unfortunately in the day I have been there, the alive music was a closed event and I was not able to join. The food was good and the beer too. The price was fare!
My favourite varied live music venue in Berlin, taking you underground both literally and figuratively. On two occasions I've come back from here having fallen in love with the artists that they've had on, and I usually end up bringing some merchandise home with me. Also, the free beer raffle on entry is actually genius.

Inadvisible for Bands. Bad sound, maybe because the sound engineer leaves BEFORE the concert?! the manager is very unfriendly. Often weird people coming by... As a woman I don´t feel comfortable in the late hours... The Café upstairs is ok...
Great bar for live music, with a varied program list of bands and musical staff. Reasonable prices as well. for a beer and for a A bit small with limited space to watch the bands, but worth a visit.
In search for a music bar we wound our way to this place. It tries to match the Berlin way by being tough tom enter! The place is like a dungeon with a small stage.Only a few seats and they seem to go in uncreative manner.The...lounge area near the bar is better.Live music was good but did not hold much of our attention.A drink is included in the cover charge which seems to alter depending on the music. No receipt was given for the charge!

The prices are cheap, the food delicious and the service is very helpful. a great mood, I like to come back.
The connecting rod in the Kreuzberger gneisenaustraße has been available for over 20 years. in the first years it is fixed in the Kreuzberger bar and music scene. in the cellar there are concerts of some more unknown musicians almost daily instead of in the clinke, a dj still sets up. the musical directions are diverse (jazz, rock, radio, latin) and actually all here should find something that is only once a year in the bar (yes, yes, you are old) suitable and always as in the 80s, dark, a bit oll and somehow cozy.
If they are looking for fresh bands or even a beautiful evening, they will definitely find them in the connecting bar. it offers both a concert cellar and a bar to sit comfortably. the prices are completely in order and the public is pleasant. again and again they can check new bands there and put djs.
