Delicious food, a taste of italia in berlin.

We really enjoyed our visit to il sorriso and had given a 5-star rating if we had not left 25 minutes after sitting before someone came to pick up our order.

Not far from the Quirligen Ku 'damms, near Zoo and Memorial Church there is an oasis of Mediterranean lifestyle and tranquility. On beautifully covered tables that keep walls in warm colors, you can watch life on the street through large windows while enjoying life with good food. At first the plentiful waiters are noticed, flee to the guests, smile with Italian charm to the ladies. The map reads well, makes anticipation come. A little shame that the good wines are only flax. The open do not give much so that as an automobileist, who might have a 0.1 glass, you would rather miss out. Now it should go. A eye-catcher from the kitchen, which also flattered the palate. Followed by Carpacchio (15,00€ and Antipasti vetrina (16,00€) At Carpacchio I am quite sceptical, but here the sceptic is quickly faded. Zartestes beef with an excellent crushed sauce in the style of the house. The antipasti are actually added to the buffet, but we were served. In addition to grilled vegetables, delicately inlaid, very good and delicious Calamari were found. A surprise was also the tenderly inlaid broccoli. A good start. And then we just did it. It should be Tagliolini Tartufo (21,00€.) It was served and we got a wonderful truffle fragrance in the nose. The wonderful dark yellow color of Tagliolini. Bite-resistant yet soft enough and especially: perfectly salted. Enjoy! So we had imagined this and enjoyed every bite. A real tip to enjoy Italian here.

An institution in Berlin. Very good food, excellent wine selection with competent and friendly service. We enjoyed lunch here very much. It's a fine-covered table! Also an excellent selection of fresh fish. We'll be back in the next Berlin visit.
