The teriyaki sauce isn’t really authentic (a lot sweeter and probably thickened with corn starch) but it compliments the salmon well. My go-to lunch.

Unfortunately we made the order (which went through and got confirmation by email) and waited for 1,5h, calling and calling and finally drove there to check, to only find it closed with a note on the door informing about the renovations

I actually checked out Yelp and thought the 3,5 score wasn't too bad, but damn was I wrong. I realised as soon as I walked in the door that sushi was out of the question, not due to the unpleasant decor, but the unpleasant odour. It smelt like a greasy food, a day old. So I opted for a curry, which tasted like something between a curry and a saté it was not even close to being tasty, and I was almost happy that the serving was on the small side. There was a place across the road though, only a couple of euro more expensive, that seemed to serve more authentic Japanese food. If I ever end up on a sushi hunt in this kiez again, I'll probably give that one ago.. I recommend that you do too!
