The first time we enjoyed our meal and it was a pleasant experience. Therefore we visited this restaurant once more. It was a rainy day and the customers couldn't (wouldn't) use the terrance and wanted to sit inside. We didn't stay too long in the restaurant. Just eat and then leave. So when one of the staff members asked if the new arrived customers could sit next to us an the same bench, we had no objections. We said we had finished our meal and we would leave as soon as they would bring us the bill. This took more than 5 minutes and in the meantime the staff looked at us as if we were to blame. Overall the staff were very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome. If we would have had experienced this the first evening, we wouldn't have come back.

Service was very slow and while the hummus was delicious they did not provide enough bread (2 pieces of bread for 3 plates of hummus between 2 people), forcing you to buy more in order to finish an already expensive dish. We went at a busy time and felt they were understaffed.

Very imaginative menu, friendly and efficient staff and lovely ambience. Also, in terms of physical space, really lovely, different ways of experiencing the same venue.Not sure I made the right choice with the H&F hummus special: too much of a good thing. But the fruit pot with mango sorbet was a really lovely experience. I look forward to exploring further menu option on future visits.
